I met comic book artist and writer, Brian Shear for the first time at Emerald City Comic Con 2019. I picked up a sketch cover I commissioned him to do for me. It’s an homage to G.I. Joe issue 139 where I asked him to replace Megatron with Optimus Prime and Cobra Commander with Hawkeye. The result turned out beautifully.
Brian Shear was kind enough to take time out of his first day every at Emerald City Comic Con to let me interview him about sketch covers and his process for working on them.
