While at Emerald City Comic Con 2019 I picked up a sketch cover commission from comic book artist and writer, Brendan Cahill. I sent Mr. Cahill a blank cover of Zorro issue 1 about a month and change before Emerald City Comic Con. I requested that he homage the Todd McFarlane cover from Batman 423 replacing Batman with Zorro. The results are stunning.
Brendan Cahill was kind enough to take time out of his day at Emerald City Comic Con 2019 to record this interview with me. We talk about his work process, how long it took to do this sketch cover, and how you can go about getting your own sketch cover from Mr. Cahill.
